Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging
At Together, we value and respect the unique lived experience of every member in our organization and community. We base our values on acceptance, understanding and authentic connection. We celebrate the differences that allow us to make progress and create change. We advocate for equitable opportunities for growth and stability for the individuals and families that make up our community.

The land on which Together buildings stand is part of the ancient lands of the Očhéthi Šakówiŋ nation (also spelled Oceti Sakowin – pronounced Oh-cheti shah koween), otherwise known as the Sioux Nation, and the Umonhon (Omaha) tribe. The United States acquired this land in the Indian Land Cession 315, reflecting a history of Native and Indigenous peoples’ experience of displacement, violence, settlement, and survival. We recognize, honor, and respect the Oceti Sakowin (meaning “Seven Council Fires”) and other Indigenous caretakers of these lands and waters, the elders who lived here before, the Indigenous today, and the generations to come.
